In case you need to compile a CV but don’t have much time or don’t know how to start we suggest you try this free online tool.
The Translator CV Builder uses a straight forward approach and in just a few steps you create a well structured CV which contains all information a translation agency will look for. The tool will help you to keep the information short and to the point. Once you are done you can use the CV as is (we do not recommend this because it should look a little better than the output of this service) or modify it as you wish.
There are four main sections to go through. The first one is about your personal details and the services you provide, e.g. your language pair(s), translation, interpreting, voiceover. The second section deals with your education. In the third section you present your experience and in the fourth section you will be asked to provide information about the tools you know.
When finished you can download you CV as a Microsoft Word document and, as we already mentioned, modify it if you are not absolutely satisfied.
